*This is a continuation of part 1 class. Students must be signed up for part 1 to take part 2.
In this class participants will become acquainted with a vast array of quality resources available via the Internet and Bradley Library hosted online resources. We will take advantage of Library access to subscription databases Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest. We will pay special attention to census records, as these records often contain rich veins of genealogical data. A basic understanding of online computer skills is necessary to participate.
- Students must hav experience with a computer, and be able to use a mouse and keyboard prior to attending all classes except Basic Computer Skills I. Any other prerequisites are listed with the course description.
- You must register for each class at least 24 hours prior to start time.
- The library reserves the right to cancel a computer class due to low enrollment or scheduling conflicts, in which case notification will be attempted at least 72 hours prior to class start time. In the event of a class cancellation due to staff illness, power or Internet failure, inclement weather, or other emergency, the library will contact you as soon as possible.
