Adult Computer Class - MS Excel

Discover spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel. In this introductory course, you'll learn to enter data, format your spreadsheet, and perform basic calculations. Spreadsheets can be used to track slaes and expenses, create budgets, and more.

Students must hav experience with a computer, and be able to use a mouse and keyboard prior to attending all classes except Basic Computer Skills I. Any other prerequisites are listed with the course description.
You must register for each class at least 24 hours prior to start time.
The library reserves the right to cancel a computer class due to low enrollment or scheduling conflicts, in which case notification will be attempted at least 72 hours prior to class start time. Babygarten will be Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., or the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 10 a.m. Babygarten is a parent/child interaction class intended for babies 0 to 12 months of age. This 1/2 hour class will provide enjoyment with your child through music, movement, games, and bonding. Registration is required.

Kindergarten Boot Camp

Help your child get ready for kindergarten with The Bradley Public Library's free Kindergarten Readiness Camp. Bradley Library in partnership with United Way & Community Foundation Success By Six Initiative provide parents with the resources they need to teach their children at home and better prepare them for school.

Your child will also have an opportunity to participate in a study of children's school readiness. An observer will be present filling out a program survey. The study's findings will be used to create new programs to help children and their families prepare for entering kindergarten.

To better understand your child and the other children you will receive a two page parent survey. Please complete this survey as part of the registration process. Your child's information is confidental and will not be used against him or her in any way.

Anyone entering Kindergarten in 2012-2013 calendar year.
Free Community Program April - May 2012.
Monday 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. or Thursday 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Tell us if you need help with the basics (keyboard skills, the Internet, email accounts) or something more specific like adding attachments to emails, posting a resume to career websites, formating documents, or using the Internet for maps and directions. Choose your time slot and specify your computer needs.

Job Lab @ Your Library

Job Lab is a special computer lab just for job seekers. Registration is required, first come first served basis. Participants should be prepared and bring all pertinent information, such as job history, dates of employment, contact information, etc. Update your resume, write a cover letter. Search for jobs, complete online job applications. Explore a new career, access library databases such as Learning Express Library to build new work skills or practice tests for professional exams. Use the computers for other employment-related needs.

Mondays 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Microsoft Office Software and the Internet.
USB's are available for purchase, or bring your own to save work.
Standard printing charges apply.
Library staff and resources will be in the lab to provide some assistance
