Ruth Drassler

Bradley Public Library District will be closed from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Monday, December 21 for the funeral services of Ruth Drassler.

Ruth Drassler was the Director of the Bradley Public Library from 1966-1997.
During her tenure, she oversaw many changes to the library including the construction of the building on 296 N. Fulton, the addition of computers and the Internet, the modernization of the catalog from paper cards to computer, and the transformation from a village library to a district library.

In honor of Ruth's dedication to the Bradley Public Library, the Library Board has begun planning a lasting memorial to be incorporated into our expanded and renovated building.  If you would like to donate to Ruth's memorial, please contact Director Jodie DePatis
