Teen ShelfList: New Teen Books at BPL
T.A.C.O.S- Teen Advisory Council of Students.
We meet once a month. T.A.C.O.S. gives the Library ideas for teen programs, helps with programs for younger kids, and more!
This is a HANDS ON tech program designed specifically for Teens, ages 13-18! Each year we have a little different technology to work with. We’ve done photography and editing using DSLR cameras, stop animation films, learn to Code, 2D filament pens and a 3D printing. New this year is 3D scanning, podcasting, machine embroidery, sublimation printing, VR, and more! New sessions starting Fall 2023! This program is made possible with a Project Next Generation grant through the Illinois State Library.
Do you need volunteering hours for school? Have you always wanted to work at a library? Maybe you’re just looking for a fun way to give back.
